Agustín H. Majdalani is an experienced scientist and director with a career spanning academic research, engineering consultancy, and real estate. His expertise includes fire safety engineering, analytical research, modelling, and team leadership, with a strong focus on bridging science with practice.
With a background in mechanical and fire engineering and a lifelong passion for architecture, design, and the arts, Agustín developed a fascination for creating new spaces and regenerating those that were destroyed, abandoned, or misused. This path led him to become an urban regeneration devotee, shaping his own concept of regeneration over several years. Drawing inspiration from large-scale public initiatives, he has refined this vision through more than two decades of hands-on experience refurbishing and recovering small- to medium-scale properties.
He holds a PhD in Fire Safety Engineering from The University of Edinburgh and an MEng from the University of Maryland. He is a Chartered Engineer (CEng), Chartered Scientist (CSci), and an active member of the Institute of Physics (MInstP), the Institution of Fire Engineers (MIFireE), and the Institute of Construction and Structures of the Argentine National Academy of Engineering (ICyE–ANI).
